Make your Morning Routine Count

Establishing a morning routine can have numerous benefits for your overall health and productivity and I know you want these advantages

Here are some of the key reasons why having a morning routine is important 👇🏼

:: Boosts productivity: A morning routine can help you start your day on a positive note and create momentum for the rest of your day. By establishing a consistent routine, you can reduce decision fatigue and feel more in control of your day

💥 ACTION STEP - Review what you’re doing now and rewrite the script. I’m sure there are things that drain you even before you get your first cup of coffee and that needs to change. Rid yourself of the morning mini stressors with a clear idea of how you want to start your day

:: Reduces stress: Having a set routine can help reduce stress and anxiety by providing structure and predictability. When you know what to expect in the morning, you can prepare yourself mentally and physically for the day ahead

💥 ACTION STEP - Write out the top 3 to 5 things you want to accomplish and use technology to assist you, like adding the info + deadline to your notifications or calendar

:: Improves physical health: A morning routine that includes exercise or stretching can help improve your physical health and energy levels throughout the day. It can also help you establish healthy habits and stick to them over time

💥 ACTION STEP - Add a 3 minute breathing session and a 2 minute stretch to your morning routine to reduce stress and keep your head clear and body feeling good

:: Enhances mental well-being: Taking some time for yourself in the morning, whether it's through meditation, journaling, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee, can help improve your mental well-being and set a positive tone for the rest of your day

💥 ACTION STEP - Decide to intentionally show up to your tasks…even washing last nights dishes can be an opportunity to enhance your mental well being. Example: you can either be annoyed at all the cleaning or you can enjoy the warm water, the scent of the soap, and play some nice music/listen to a podcast

:: Helps you achieve your goals: By incorporating tasks or activities that are aligned with your goals into your morning routine, you can make progress towards achieving them on a daily basis

💥 ACTION STEP - Identify what matters to you and match action steps to what’s important. You’ll cut down on overthinking by giving yourself a roadmap AND you won’t feel as anxious when the less important things get moved to a later time/date

Overall, having a morning routine can help you create a sense of structure and control in your life, reduce stress and anxiety, improve your physical and mental health, and increase your efficiency and success

Awakening inspiration is the process of finding deeper meaning and purpose in life by tapping into your inner creativity 🪄


It involves becoming aware of your unique talents and abilities and using them to inspire yourself and others 💡

 — Identify what inspires you and establish clear intentions around your creative pursuits 👁️

:: Create daily practices

 — Set aside time each day to focus on your creative interests, whether it's writing, drawing, playing music or another endeavors (doesn’t have to be artsy!) 🧘🏻‍♀️

The secret to quieting the inner critic 🗝️✨

You have an inner critic (well all do) and it probably sounds a bit like this 👇🏼

:: I have to do everything perfectly (protection from failure and judgment)

:: I have to control everything I say, think, and do (protection from yourself)

:: I have to succeed at everything (protection from being judged as a failure)

:: Why bother, good things probably won’t happen (protection from rejection/failure)

:: I can never forgive myself for xyz (protection from making the same mistakes)

:: I should just do what everyone around me is doing (protection from judgment)

🧠 The inner critic is a mechanism of the mind, designed to keep you safe 

Safe? Yes, safe because your current comfort zone is predictable

The problem with letting your inner critic go unchecked is that it just gets louder, 🥴 keeping you right where you are, and I know you want more for yourself

The ✨secret✨to quieting your inner critic is 👇🏼

You're already worthy, babe 💅🏼

Imagine moving through your day without the struggle of wondering, “Am I worthy?”

Visualize the freedom you experience when you’re not overly preoccupied by the concept of deservingness and instead you’re taking action, knowing you’re golden

Picture yourself falling asleep at night knowing you’re the type of person that isn’t held back by their mind

Here’s the tea, babe — the unworthiness/unloveable/incapable thoughts will always be there because they’re a mechanism of the ego (in your brain)

What if you didn’t have to fully “get rid” of those thoughts in order to know your worth

All new levels hold new devils. No matter what you do or where you go those thoughts are coming with you. Your ego is dedicated to those stories and you best be dedicated to yours and double down on your truth

Accept the demons and make them your besties. You no longer have to see them as threats because that  view reinforces the whole “worthy/unworthy” battle

It can’t even be a battle when you decide to focus on your worth and take action from that place 

What does, “I am worthy” even mean to you?

:: You’re a high value person?

— right, so take action like one. Focus on living like a high value person.

:: You deserve to be seen, heard, validated, and loved?

— right, so validate the part of you that wants to believe you’re worthy, choose healthy narratives. Focus on seeing/hearing/validating and loving yourself.

:: You want material things and you should have them?

— right, so get organized and focus on the steps you need to take to get the things you want.

This post isn’t for you if you conflate what I’m sharing with the idea, “I should just automatically have things just because I think I’m worthy”. Grow up and act like a responsible adult
