Place your feet firmly on the ground. Draw an imaginary circle around yourself. This is your sovereign space – the physical representation of where you end and others begin. How does it feel to consciously claim this space? Notice any subtle shifts in your posture, your breath, as you acknowledge your right to have limits.
Many of us learned early that maintaining peace meant making ourselves smaller, more accommodating. That flutter in your stomach when you want to say no but feel you can't? It's your body's wisdom flagging the disconnect between your truth and your conditioning. Your boundaries aren't walls – they're the guardrails that protect your energy and allow you to show up fully in your relationships.
When we ignore our limits, our bodies keep the score. The headaches, the tight shoulders, the exhaustion – these are often the physical manifestations of boundaries that need tending. This month, we're learning to listen to these signals before they become screams.
🗡️ Coaching Tip: Before responding to any request, pause for three breaths. Notice what happens in your body when you imagine saying yes versus no. Your physical response rarely lies.

Boundary Inventory: Create a "yes/no compass" by documenting how your body feels when you're honoring versus overriding your limits. Look for patterns in physical sensations that can guide future decisions.
Sacred Pause Practice: Install three daily pauses where you physically step back and ask, "Is this mine to hold?" Practice feeling the difference between responsibility and over-functioning.
Practice Boundary Scripts: Write down three kind but firm responses to common boundary challenges. Rehearse them until they feel natural in your body: "Thank you for thinking of me. I need to decline." Notice how confidence builds with practice.
